F5 completed its acquisition of NGINX in May 2019. F5 (including the NGINX business) receives no personal data through the NGINX products and services with the exception of NGINXaaS, where F5 processes personal data as described in the NGINXaaS Privacy Statement. To the extent these products and services process personal data, this happens entirely within the customer’s network. The customer may be a “controller” or “processor” of that data within the meaning of the data protection laws of the EU and similar jurisdictions, but F5 is neither because F5 does not process the data.
Personal data processed in the context of NGINX-related sales, support, training, and other business functions is handled as described in the main F5 Privacy Notice.
